The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Corban Samuel Vander-Ploeg of Moore on drug trafficking charges early Monday morning. Deputies discovered Vander-Ploeg sleeping in a car parked at a closed business near Fairplay, South Carolina. A subsequent investigation revealed approximately 1,504 THC vape pens with a 93% THC concentration, a loaded .45 caliber Glock 41 handgun, and a Glock 26 9mm handgun. Vander-Ploeg was also charged with two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime and is being held at the Oconee County Detention Center. Deputies are continuing their investigation into the matter.
