According to a study by the Tax Foundation, Nevada ranks 15th in the nation for its vape taxes, charging $5.65 on a package of four 1.8 mL cartridges with a wholesale price of $18.84. The Tax Foundation standardized comparisons across states by calculating taxes on this common product. Globally, over 100 million people vape, including a significant number of teenagers who are nine times more likely to use e-cigarettes than adults. The states with the highest vape taxes are Minnesota and Washington, both at $17.50 per package, followed by Vermont at $17.33.
