The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) apprehended two individuals, known as “Taton” and “Lorence,” during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagong Silangan on April 14. The operation, conducted by Police Station 13, followed intelligence reports regarding illegal drug activity. Authorities seized 300 grams of dried marijuana leaves, approximately three grams of “kush,” and 24 disposable vape devices containing suspected liquid marijuana, with a total estimated value of P76,500. Additional items recovered included marijuana sachets, THC vape cartridges, a mobile phone, and the buy money. “Taton” has a prior arrest record for frustrated homicide. The suspects will be charged with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and QCPD director Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio affirmed the continuation of the anti-illegal drug campaign.
