Summary

Cell Fone City Ltd, a mobile phone repair shop in Woolwich, has been fined more than £15,000 after pleading guilty to selling a vape to a 14-year-old and stocking illegal vaping products. The company and its director Mansoor Aslam admitted to offences including possessing vapes without health warnings and exceeding legal nicotine liquid limits. Following a test purchase in May 2025 where a staff member fled the premises, the business was fined £8,190 at Bromley Magistrates’ Court, with Mr Aslam facing an additional fine. The council stated that despite receiving guidance in October 2024, the shop continued to stock illegal vapes, leading to the conviction.
