The council issued 23 fines totaling £2,400, placing it in joint tenth for the monetary value of fines. Luton Borough Council topped the rankings with fines totaling £46,640 following the seizure of over 4,000 illegal products. Meanwhile, Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council led in the number of seizures, confiscating 291,707 illegal vapes. Vape Superstore's David Phillips noted that the volume of illegal vapes is alarming as they often bypass safety regulations. The data also showed a 126% growth in vape sales in Milton Keynes since 2024.
