The PUD would allow a mix of residential and business spaces, though certain businesses like funeral homes and drive-throughs would be excluded. Additionally, the council is revisiting regulations for vape and smoke shops, which would prohibit the sale of products like kratom and Delta-8 THC, limit signage, and restrict store locations near schools and parks. The original moratorium on these shops could be extended by 90 days.
