Makati police confiscated around P768,000 worth of kush and marijuana vape devices from two high-value individuals during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tejeros, Makati. The operation occurred on the morning of June 18 after a police poseur buyer made a transaction with one of the arrested suspects, resulting in the recovery of one vacuum-sealed plastic containing dried fruiting tops of suspected kush. Confiscated from the suspects were 15 machine-sealed plastic sachets containing dried fruiting tops of suspected kush weighing approximately 500 grams, with an estimated value of P750,000. Also recovered were several disposable vape devices containing suspected marijuana resin or oil, labeled 'Mini BY TINY' in different variants, with an estimated value of P18,000, along with a weighing scale and a pink cellular phone. The suspects are now under police custody and will face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
