At its July 13 forum, the UK Vaping Industry Association will release new research on how the upcoming Vaping Products Duty will affect consumer behaviour, smoking cessation, illicit trade, and flavour use. The data include a survey of over 3,500 consumers that highlights the importance of flavours, as well as Freedom of Information data on flavour use in local stop‑smoking services. The findings are intended to inform debate on forthcoming regulations, retailer licensing, and enforcement against illicit sales as the UK prepares to implement the duty in October.
