Edenderry Garda Station reopens following vape incident

The Edenderry Garda Station in Co Offaly has officially reopened following an incident on Wednesday that left two officers hospitalized. The two members, a sergeant and a garda, were processing vapes when they became unwell and required medical attention.
Both officers have since been discharged from the hospital. An Garda Síochána stated that they are providing welfare support to the affected members and their families as they recuperate. Following a thorough examination and specialist deep cleaning of the station, the facility was cleared to reopen at 7am this morning.
