The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) has identified a 32-year-old man who was allegedly filmed vaping during a roadshow at Waterway Point in Punggol on Aug. 30, 2026. In an Instagram update on Sep. 25, HSA confirmed the identification. The original video, posted on social media on Sep. 22, showed the seated man holding a device to his mouth at the level one Village Square atrium around 7:20pm. The caption, purportedly from an eyewitness, claimed the man was a car salesman and questioned why he thought he could vape unnoticed despite the crowd. The video also showed other members of the public walking in the mall.
