Burlington man charged after several women sexually assaulted in his vape store
Summary
Halton Regional Police have charged Mouhamad "Frank" Sabra, the owner of Vape on Plains II in Burlington, with seven counts of sexual assault, two counts of indecent act, and breach of probation. The investigation began after an adult female reported being assaulted inside the store while alone with the suspect. Sabra was initially arrested on Sept. 8 and charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of failing to comply with a probation order. After investigators issued a press release believing there were more victims, three additional women came forward alleging they were assaulted in the store between 2024 and 2026. Sabra, who also owns another location called Vape on Plains, was held for a bail hearing. The charges have not been proven in court. Police continue to encourage any other victims to contact the HRPS Child Abuse and Sexual Assault (CASA) Unit at 905-825-4777 ext. 8970. Support resources for victims of sexual assault are also listed.
