Singapore authorities reported 3,534 people were caught and fined for possessing and using e-vaporizers, including vapes and Kpods, during the last four months of 2025. Of these, 3,168 were vape offenders and 366 were Kpod abusers. 268 offenders were placed in rehabilitation programs, with eight completing them by December 31st. Fifteen individuals missed their initial rehabilitation appointments, with four facing charges. Authorities seized over 41,000 vapes and related parts and removed over 1,070 illegal online listings. The government encourages individuals to utilize the QuitVape program and QuitLine for assistance, assuring no penalties for those voluntarily seeking help. New measures implemented on September 1st include stricter penalties and mandatory rehabilitation for offenders, with potential fines up to $10,000 and jail time for Kpod offenses.
