Police have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to question following an assault at a vape shop on Bridge Street in Congleton. On January 17th, at 1:54 PM, the man entered the shop and requested a bag from the shop assistant. After being refused, he became angry and threatened to steal speakers. The shop assistant prevented the theft, resulting in an assault. The suspect then damaged the speakers before fleeing the scene empty-handed. Police are asking anyone who recognizes the man to come forward with information, quoting IML 2253202, or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
