The court dismissed VMR’s appeal and revoked patent EP 3 456 214, which had previously been upheld by the EPO. This decision follows earlier rulings by the Paris Central Division of the UPC, which upheld some patents while revoking others. Several of the upheld patents were subsequently revoked by the EPO due to added matter. The court also addressed a request for access to case files from Nicoventures, granting it with specific conditions.
