A fire erupted around 1pm on Tuesday at Cloud Town, a vape shop located on Gaolgate Street in Stafford. Eight fire appliances from across Staffordshire responded to the blaze, which was visible from the roof and inside the building. Gaolgate Street, a busy shopping area, was closed to pedestrians until approximately 6pm. Fortunately, all staff members evacuated safely, and no injuries were reported. Staffordshire Fire and Rescue advised the public to stay away from the area while they managed the incident. The Butler's Bell, a neighboring pub, also evacuated customers and closed for the afternoon and evening due to potential smoke damage. Fire investigation work is currently underway at the gutted vape shop.
